What is a TEE, and why should I care?
A Trusted Execution Environment is a hardware-isolated region of a CPU where memory is encrypted and the OS itself can't peek. Your prompt gets decrypted inside it, the model runs inside it, and the plaintext never lives anywhere else.

      
How is this different from a regular API?
Traditional APIs trust the provider with your raw data. With Shroud, prompts are sealed to an attested enclave key, so even we can't read them in transit or at rest.

      
Is it OpenAI-compatible?
Yes. Swap the base URL and add our key — existing SDKs work. MCP and raw JSON-RPC are available for tool-calling.

      
Can I bring my own model weights?
